Riders A vs Riders B Practice Match II - 21st September 2013

Toss time:

Riders A team Captain Sathya and Riders B team Captain Rajarajan walks into the center for the toss. Sathya calls heads and coin landed as he said, Sathya won the toss and decided to Riders A team will bat first in the 10 over match.

Firing Start:

Nasar & Nagoor walks into the center to open the innings for Riders A team, Captain raja set the field. Covers - Pavunu, Mid off - Viki, Deep Covers - Dinesh, Wicket Keeping - Rajarajan, Third Man - MNSK. Ramamoorthy get ready bowl the first ball of the day.

Very second ball of the over bowled a brilliant straight delivery with decent pace to nasar. Nasar into the shot little bit late and ball took out the off stump. Nasar gone and early set back for Riders A team, Bharathy joined with Nagoor started their innings slowly.

Ramamoorthy bowled a brilliant first over, conceeded only 4 runs and a wicket. Viki also bowled a brilliant second over of 3 runs in that one wide deliveries. So at the end of 2 overs Riders A team scored 7/1. Both the batsmen played steadily.

Pavunu came into bowled a third over, but unfortunately today is not a day for him in the bowling department. Bowled full toss to start his spell, he bowled wides, beemer no balls, short pitches, full tosses in the single over. Riders A team full use of this over and scored 17 runs. At the end of 3 overs, Riders A team scored 24/1.

Rajarajan bowled a decent fourth over and conceded only 6 runs, Riders B were 30/1 end of 4 Overs

Riders B tried their fifth bowling option in the fifth over, they were in under big pressure at this stage. Dinesh start his spell with leg side wide delivery, second ball low full toss, bharathy hits high in the air to Rajarajan. But Raja misses the oppurtunity to bharathy, then bharathy used the luck to his favour and scored a brilliant 20 odd runs in this innings. Dinesh conceded 14 runs in this over at the end of 5 overs, 44/1.

Good Come Back by Riders B:

Ramamoorthy bowled a very good first over of the second half of the innings, conceeded just single run in this over. And Dinesh & Raja followed that brilliant over and conceeded only four and three runs respectievely. At the end of 8 overs Riders A team scored 52/1.

Dinesh Bowled another great over and great come back after a bad first over. He conceeded just 4 runs in this over and finished his spell 3-0-22-0. Nagoor and Bharathy played brilliant cricketing shots, specially nagoor played classy cut shots in his innings. This partnership Reaches fifty in the 9th over of the innings.

Ramamoorthy bowled a last over of the innings and conceeded 9 runs and get a wicket of Nagoor.

Riders A set a target of 66 runs in 10 overs to Riders B team.

Riders B slow start:

Viki & MNSK open for Riders B team. They played steadily and keep rotating their strike, both played brilliantly, equally Riders A team bowling was very brilliant. Sathya bowled brilliant first over and conceeded just a single run and also Mani and Bharathi bowled good spells consecutively. At the end of 4 Overs Riders B team scored 16 without losing a wicket.

Very first ball of 5th over from Sathya, opening batsman Viki bowled and back to the pavilion. Rajarajan joined MNSK, but Riders B team missed to score quick in this innings. And also they kept losing the wickets in the regular intervals.

Riders A team won:

At the end Riders A team won the match by 22 runs.
