Toss:

Once again Sunrisers Skipper dhawan won the toss and elected to field. Faisalabad has to win the match to keep into the tournament.

Excellent captaincy:

Few up and downs in his first match as a captain, dhawan learnt very quickly from the mistakes. He done a fabulous job in this match as a captain, rotate the bowlers cleverly and good field set. He used Mishra very cleaverly and dominate the middle overs.

Steyn back:

World's best quick bowler Steyn back to the form immediately after the worst spell in the first game. He bowled nice pace, bounce and seem. He doesn't picked any wickets but bowled a brilliant spell of 4-0-20-0.

Mishra Magic:

Mishra bowled only one over in the first match of the qualifier round against SL's Kandatura team. But today dhawan give him to finish his complete quota of 4 overs. He bowled 17 dot balls in his 4 overs conceded only 13 runs and also broke all important opening partnership of 48 runs.

Mishbah Steady Innings:

Mishbah once again proved that he can play good steady innings for his team. He has done this lot in his international & county careers. Today also he done the same, he played one handed innings and scored brilliant half century. He smashed 5 massive six and scored 56 runs in just 40 balls.

Faisalabad team set simple target to Sunrisers, it won't be defending target up against quality batting line of SRH like Dhawan, Patel, Duminy, Perera & Sammy.

Another brilliant Opening Partnership:

Both the SRH openers are walked intot he middle for the simple chase. Patel and Dhawan once again started brilliantly and played class shots in the middle. Patel played brilliantly as same as dhawan. Once again this partnership reached 50 runs stand, back to back 50 runs stand these pair in the CL T20 2013 Qualifier round. Finally, Adil broke the brilliant partnership, he got the wicket of Parthiv Patel. He scored 23 runs in 21 balls, SRH were 68/1 (8.5 Overs). Duminy walks into the middle to join Dhawan. Dhawan still continue his aggressive batting and reached his back to back half century.

Brilliant over by Khalid:

Mishbah through the ball to part-timer left arm spin bowler Khalid to bowl the 15th over the innings. Dhawan smashed six & four in the 2nd & 3rd ball of the over, Khalid conceeded 10 runs in his first three balls, but he came back strongly in the second half of his over. He got a wicket of Dhawan in the 4th ball and Samantaray in final ball. Khalid bowled brilliant 15th over of 2 wickets for 10 runs. Now SRH were 112/5 in 15 overs. They required another 16 runs in 30 balls, sammy joined with Duminy.

Sammy finished the game quickly:

Duminy and sammy played freely and slowly. Sammy hits 3 consecutive boundaries in 18th over to finish the game, one top edge over the keeper head went to the boundary, next inside edge went back to the fine leg boundary & hit brilliant cover drive to finish the game.

Sunrisers through to the Main Tournament:

SRH won by 7 wickets with 15 balls spare and also qualified through to the main tournament. Captain Dhawan done a brilliant job as a captain as well as Batsman. He played back to back half centuries and two consecutive wins as a captain. Good job, keep it up and all the best for the complete tournament.
