Day 2 Update


Pakistan 249 allout:


After a strong bowling perfomance on the first day of first test match against Pakistan, they continued the same in the second day also. They strike the last victim of Pakistan batsman in the very second ball of the Day 2, Chatara took the final wicket of his first delivery of the day 2. Chatara picked 3 wickets, ajmal missed his half century.

Zimbabwe Reply:


Even after the strong showing of their bowlers on the first day in Harare, doubts persisted over whether Zimbabwe would pose a challenge, given the fragility of their Test batting, especially in the absence of Brendan Taylor, and the quality Pakistan's attack. 

Bit Callapse start:


Zimbabwe lose three wickets at the score of 68, Sibanda start to score but he didn't accelerate well he got out at 31 runs and captain Masakadza also went early. 

Partnership in the Middle:


Then Waller and Raza played sensibly and scored very easy. They played very well against quality pakistani bowling attack. Both batsman went pass their half century as well as good century patnership for 4th wicket. Now Zimbawae are in the safer side at the tea break.





Shocking start at Final session:


Very shocking start after the Tea break, Both well settled batsmen are gone very quick succession. Zimbabwe were lost six wickets at the score of 235 runs. Still 14 more runs to trail pakistan score. Ajmal bowled very well and took 4 very important wickets of Zimbabwe batsmen. He has variety of deliveries in his bank and delivered more today.

Zimbabwe Lead:


Then Chigumbura comes into the crease and take zimbabwe lead score. Now zimbabwe were batted very well as they bowled in the day 1.

End of Day 2:


Chigumbura walks off with a satisfied smile and why not? Zimbabwe are leading by 32 and have taken the fight to Pakistan. The openers did their but to negatre the seamers but it was the stand of 127 between Waler and Raza that gave the hosts self belief, that a lead could be achieved today.
